It was the year 2013, and Lamborghini celebrated its 50th anniversary of producing some of the most sought-after supercars on the planet by launching the LP720-4 50º Anniversario special edition package for its range topping Aventador model.
This feature, while not the actual 50th Anniversary edition, still epitomises the spirit of it. Featured here is Lamborghini’s flagship Aventador model which is kitted with an original LP720-4 50º Anniversario bodykit straight out from the Lamborghini factory in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy.
The exterior of this Aventador with the limited edition 50th Anniversary kit is where it really shines and adds a whole new level of visual drama over the standard production Aventador LP700-4.
The front and rear fascias have been redesigned and the aerodynamics further optimised. The front air intakes and the aerodynamic splitter have been enlarged and extended, and small flaps set into the sides. The rear end of the vehicle is entirely new, featuring an enlarged diffuser and expansive meshwork that not only improves the engine-compartment ventilation, but also adds a touch of race-inspired design to the overall aesthetic. All these exterior works make for a 50 percent increase in aerodynamic efficiency over the standard-production Aventador.
The special edition copper gold rims match perfectly with the tanned leather interior. Finished in Grigio Estoque and paired with a carbon fibre GT wing, this combination gives a visually striking and exclusive design, sure to turn heads with its aggressive stance.
A celebration of Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary, this particular Aventador is exclusive to the most discerning of car enthusiasts as a true work of art.
